The Dorothy Jean Foundation was created and Co-founded by Gary and Kristal Parks.  In memory of both of their mothers Dorothy Jo Parks and Genervia Kyle.  Who were committed to aiding and assisting inner city youth, special needs students, and single parent homes.  Gary and Kristal endeavor to continue their mothers legacy by doing the same.  The Dorothy Jean foundation is created for children in urban neighborhoods where the challenges of daily life severely affect their ability to pursue healthy and happy childhoods. We develop programs where kids can feel safe, be engaged in wholesome activities, build healthy relationships, expand their self-worth, and develop the life skills they need to move confidently toward a better future.
